Brain Balance Has A Plan For Your Child
Dyslexia is a learning disorder that causes children to have difficulty reading. It is characterized by difficulty recognizing letters, learning letter sounds, and identifying rhyming words. Dyslexia can show itself in different ways and can cause children to struggle with reading, which can cause issues at school. Dyslexia in children is often discovered when a child reaches kindergarten. Early signs of dyslexia in kids include learning to talk at a later age than most children, poor fine motor skills, and trouble learning the ABC’s, numbers, and days of the week.
While dyslexia is a lifelong learning disability, our program for children with dyslexia can help to enhance reading, spelling, and writing skills. The Brain Balance Achievement Center of Midlothian has developed a dyslexia program that can help your child overcome their academic challenges and function better in a classroom environment. When your child is enrolled in The Brain Balance Program, we create an individualized plan for your child that will address their strengths and weaknesses. A child’s plan can include up to 3 in-center visits per week along with activities for your child to complete at-home that will help to activate the brain.
